August 8th to 22nd, 2025 at YOD TOKYO Gallery
4 Chome-26-35 Jingumae, Shibuya, Tokyo 150-0001, Japan.
I wanted to revisit the yōkai through my own visual language. Their forms come alive in metallic volumes—cold, yet inhabited. Each piece is an open doorway to silent contemplation, an attempt to grasp the invisible, where presence is revealed by absence.
This is my vision of the spiritual.
Aesthetic and Philosophical Stakes
With BUYÔKAI I continue my exploration of cultural figures. My narrative and emotional tools are mechanical deconstruction and the investigation of silence. Through this exhibition I aim to create tension between industrial forms and invisible presences.
