Gangi-Kōzō

Acrylic on canvas, 54 cm x 65 cm, 2025

A small spirit of bridges and rooftops, the Gangi-Kōzō —discreet and nearly invisible—watches over sleeping streets. It seeks not to frighten, only to observe.

Its painted silhouette, formed of tubular modules with soft edges, becomes a furtive hybrid of machine and urban ghost.
